Microwave - Hot Plasma

Surface activation by microwave plasma in a temperature range up to 5,000K.

Microwave – Plasma Systems

Microwave plasma flame

Heating systems based on microwave plasma

Microwave plasma can be used to heat components in a very targeted manner and without major environmental influences. The fourth state of matter, the so-called plasma, is generated using microwaves. Thermal processes can be controlled in a targeted manner by adjusting the power, the distance to the product and the selection of a process gas.

Microwave plasma offers the possibility of achieving high temperatures with a low energy input. Since a plasma flame can act very precisely, targeted heating processes are possible.

Surface treatment or heating

Hot plasma as an innovative heating technology

Plasma is often equated with pure surface treatment. The vapor deposition of surfaces with plasma and special gases is a widespread application.

The microwave-based plasma is also suitable for heating components. Especially with very temperature-resistant materials, the very high energy intensity of the plasma means that process points can be reached earlier, energy can be saved,
Plant lengths are reduced and new process engineering solutions are applied.
